Savor: A Wine & Chocolate Event

SAVOR is the Foundation annual event that benefits education. Local chefs, chocolatiers, and wine connoisseurs gather to create an uncommon epicurean experience.

The 2016 event proceeds benefitted North Shore youth scholarships. Three organizations were given $7,000 each: Pu’ukumu School, Aloha Angels, and the University of Hawaii Foundation.

Check back for updates, as we begin to plan the next SAVOR, scheduled for August 19, 2017!

Huge thanks go to Foundation board member Barbara Cameron, brainchild and principal coordinator of the event; Christie O’Connell, who ran the silent auction; and April McGinnis, our invaluable volunteer and organization superstar.

Special thanks also to Destination Events, who hosted us at beautiful Common Ground; the talented chefs who created delicious pupus and chocolate delights; the wine merchants who poured a fabulous variety of wines; and all the volunteers!
